March 6: Education Forum to Discuss State Funding, Bills
A forum will be held at Robert Moton Elementary School tonight (March 6) to discuss the "pension pass-back" and "maintenance of effort" bills currently being considered in Annapolis.
The Carroll County Education Assocation and Carroll County Public Schools will host a community forum at Robert Moton Elementary School tonight at 6:30 p.m. in the media center.
Guest speakers from the Maryland Association of Boards of Education and the Maryland State Education Association will inform parents, education employees and school officials about the impact these bills (pension pass-back and maintenance of effort) could have on public school education in Carroll County.
This forum is open to the public.
