Van Hollen Recognizes Carroll County Students

Local students were given awards for their contributions to the community.

Kids are doing good things in Carroll County. That’s what Rep. Chris Van Hollen’s Public Service Award aims to show.

The award program was established to recognize graduating high school seniors in the Eighth Congressional District. High schools nominated students who made contributions to their school or to their community or to both.

Van Hollen announced this week the third and final round of awardees, including four Carroll County residents.
