Aloha Hawaii: Owls Marching Band Returns to Snow

The Westminster High School marching band returned from Hawaii during a snow storm Tuesday, Dec. 10.

The Westminster High School marching band traveled to Hawaii late last week to participate in the Pearl Harbor Day Parade on Saturday, Dec. 7. The crew of more than 150 returned today during Carroll County's second snow storm in three days.

The following message was posted on the Owl Band Facebook page after their arrival at Westminster High School:

Thank you to the parents who cleaned off our cars before we arrived back at WHS! Hawaii was beautiful and we couldn't have been more proud of our kids and how they represented our state, veterans, and school! Thanks to Ms. Jones, Mr. Thompson, and all the other parent chaperones who worked so hard and made this trip successful! We did it! And be proud Owls! You soared high!

Welcome home Owls Band!
