Carroll Community College Grads Get Discount on Stevenson University Tuition

Some Carroll Community College graduates are eligible for a discount at Stevenson University.

Carroll Community College (CCC) and Stevenson University are working together to offer CCC grads a 20 percent discount on tuition for adult undergraduate programs, according to a news release.

Current Stevenson Graduate Professional Studies students who are graduates of CCC are also eligible for the discount beginning in the Spring 2014 semester.

The partnership is an outcome of Stevenson’s effort to assist community college graduates seeking to complete their undergraduate degrees, according to a news release.

Stevenson’s School of Graduate and Professional Studies offers eight accelerated undergraduate degrees: Business Administration, Business Communication, Business Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Criminal Justice, Interdisciplinary Studies, RN to BS Nursing, and Paralegal Studies.

The programs are designed for working adults, and most undergraduate degrees can be completed within 18 to 24 months depending on the number of credits a student has acquired before entering the program. Most of the undergraduate degree programs can be completed by taking courses that are scheduled in a mixed eight-week hybrid or online format, or in a traditional 16-week format.

For Carroll Community College students, the partnership creates a fitting opportunity for both academic and career advancement.
