Carroll Community College Nursing Graduates Honored

The world now has 58 new registered nurses thanks to the Carroll Community College Nursing Program.

Fifty-eight graduates of the Carroll Community College Nursing Program recently participated in a pinning ceremony.  

College President Dr. Faye Pappalardo and Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs Dr. James Ball addressed the graduates.

Several awards were presented:

  • Highest Scholastic Average was awarded to Faith Goodacre; 
  • William J. Yerkes Nursing Award was awarded to Amie Howard; 
  • CHC Outstanding Clinical Merit Award was awarded to Chelsey Simmons; 
  • Graduates with Distinction Award was awarded to Lisa Forney;
  • Director’s Scholarship Award was awarded to Antonette Illiano.

The ceremony included a lamp lighting and the recitation of the Florence Nightingale Pledge.
