Carroll County Career and Tech Center to Host Annual Open House

If you know someone with an interest in attending career and technology programs, you don't want to miss this open house.

The Carroll County Career and Technology Center will hold its annual open house on Thursday, Oct. 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the school, located at 1229 Washington Road in Westminster.

All programs will be open with the teachers and students on hand to demonstrate projects and answer questions. A shuttle bus will be running to the parking lots at Westminster High School.

Eighth grade parents will get a sneak peek at what their student will see during the eighth grade tours in November, and ninth graders can start to plan for their junior and senior years. Tenth graders who come to the open house with their parents can apply that night. Space is limited in many programs.

Career and Technology Center programs offer college credits, national certifications, biomedical science, AP level courses, engineering, and so much more. Instructors experienced in their fields teach in classrooms that look like real-life. Many of the Center’s programs have been recognized for excellence at both the state and national levels.
