Workplace Harassment: Understanding the Issue and Minimizing Your Company’s Liability
Presenter: Bob Dunn, Robert J Dunn Associates
Perhaps more than any other human resource management issue, workplace discriminatory harassment and its prevention have been dominant concerns for employers of all sizes since the 1980s. Each year the number of complaints increase and the cost to employers increases.
This presentation will define what harassment is from a Federal and State perspective, the different types of harassment, who is protected and the difference between supervisory and employee/non-employee harassment. In addition, we will discuss appropriate policies, complaint procedures and retaliation.
