Friendship Valley Students Plant Trees for Arbor Day

Friendship Valley students have a tradition of planting trees in the school yard in honor of Arbor Day.

Students in first grade at Friendship Valley Elementary School planted four young sycamore trees to celebrate Arbor Day.

The trees were planted on school grounds near last year's trees.

During the planting, first grade students spent time reading their favorite books to their new tree.
