McDaniel College Closed Today Due to Power Outage
Englar Dining Hall is open for regularly scheduled meal hours today.
McDaniel College is closed today, Nov. 11, according to a college official.
A transformer failed yesterday causing a loss of power to the majority of campus buildings with the exception of Lewis and Eaton Halls, North Village, Garden Apartments and the Pennsylvania Avenue houses, Cheryl Knauer, director of Media Relations for McDaniel, said.
The problem has been diagnosed and repairs are underway although Knauer said she does not know when power will be restored.
The Englar Dining Hall is open during regularly scheduled meal hours today. The Pub, Green & Go and Vocelli's will remain closed until further notice.
