As students prepare to return to campus for spring semester, McDaniel College athletes continue to represent the Green Terror on fields and courts around the region.

Green Terror Athletes of the Week

• Patrick Rogers, Swimming: Rogers led the swim team in its return to action at Dickinson on Saturday, pacing the squad with two wins. He won the 500 freestyle in a time of 5:12.43 and was part of the 200 free relay, which was victorious in a time of 1:38.69. He was also second in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:52.45. Stephen Hoyt, Joseph Odierno and Jason Harder joined Rogers on the winning relay. The wins were Rogers first of the season.

• Rachel Walega, Swimming: Walega paced the women's swimming team with a pair of wins at Dickinson on Saturday. The senior recorded a victory in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:11.70 and Walega was part of the 200 medley relay, which opened the meet with a victory. Kerrie Vanscoy, Brittney Lenz and Emma Duesterhaus joined Walega to combine for a time of 1:56.53. For Walega, it was the fourth time this season she was notched double-win outings, giving her a total of four individual wins and four medley relay victories.
