Westminster Student Selected for United World College USA Program

Shobhit Kumar will finish his high school career in Montezuma, New Mexico.

Shobhit Kumar, a junior at , has been selected to continue his high school education at the prestigious United World College USA, located in Montezuma, New Mexico. Only 50 students in the entire country are selected for this honor. In fact, Kumar is the only student from Maryland to be chosen this year.       

Students at the World College complete a rigorous two-year program of studies and earn an international baccalaureate diploma at the end of the program. Typically, upon finishing the program students have earned credits equivalent to one year of college and over 80% of the graduates are accepted into Ivy League Colleges.
