Best Bet: Surf & Turf Summertime Fun Festival at the Farm Museum

Hopefully the thunderstorms forecast for Saturday will stay away so folks can enjoy a family fun day at the Farm Museum.

Don't miss the eighth annual Surf & Turf Summertime Fun Festival at the Carroll County Farm Museum on Saturday, July 20 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The event features summertime fun for the whole family including musical entertainment, crafts, demonstrations, horseshoe contests, games, and more.

For a small fee, additional kids activities will be available including mule-drawn wagon rides, 4 in 1 Moon Bounce, and Corn Cannon.

For the adults? The Knights of Columbus Westminster Council 1393 will sell beer and musical entertainment will include local favorites such as Big Cam and the Lifters and Never Never.

The classic car display will also be returning again this year. Guided tours of the Farmhouse, the Living History Center and other exhibit buildings where artisans demonstrate old-time skills and the Museum’s gift shop will be open.

The Baltimore Oriole Bird will visit from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. to sign autographs.

Adults cost $5 to enter, kids aged 7-18 and 60+ are $4, kids 6 and under are free with a paying adult.

Children 12 & under can get in free by wearing their Little League uniform.
