Don't Miss 'Art in the Park' Saturday

Art in the Park promises creative fun and intrigue for the whole family.

There is no better place to find a unique and personal gift for a graduate or dad (Father's Day is right around the corner!) than at Art in the Park.

The has partnered with the City of Westminster for three decades to present Art in the Park, an outdoor cultural festival that is held the first Saturday in June on the beautiful grounds of .

This juried event features fine art and craft displays by accomplished artists from throughout the region. It attracts a loyal and large audience of arts enthusiasts. The event also includes art demonstrations, family activities, strolling musicians, festival food, and live entertainment throughout the day.

The event is rain or shine, but according to weatherunderground.com, there's no need to pack an umbrella because tomorrow is forecast to be 72 and partly cloudy.

Participating artists include Rod Wright (clay), Susan Wolf (gourd art), Siana Stager (photography), Cindy Sowash (glass), Wayne McWilliams (painting), Daid Levy (watercolor), Kathryn Learn (pottery), Laura Turner (jewelry) and Maryanne Reimer (wearables). There will be more than 70 artists showing off their wares at Saturday's Art in the Park.

The event is on Saturday, June 2 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the grounds of City Hall, 1838 Emerald Hill Lane in Westminster.
