National Night Out is sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch (NATW) and co-sponsored by the various law enforcement agencies. The purpose of the event is to promote neighborhood spirit and police-community relations.

National Night Out was wonderful at Dutterer Park in Westminster. The Junior Women's Club did a superb job entertaining young and old alike. They had a terrific DJ who got people up and dancing, pizza, cake, cool pops, drinks and games with prizes. Everything was free! They had non profit organizations handing out freebies and sharing worthwhile advice. Door prizes and raffles too!
