Let the Good Times Roll at Reese Carnival

You know it's mid-July when you see the Reese carnival lights go up along Rt. 140.

For many Carroll County residents, summer fun is synonymous with fire department carnivals. This week the fun and games can be found on the grounds of the Reese Fire Department, 1745 Baltimore Blvd (Rt. 140).

The carnival offers more than 24 rides and the good times kick off at 6 p.m. nightly. Saturday the carnival starts at 5 p.m. There is no matinee Saturday.

The price to ride all night is $19 Wednesday and $21 Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

Cash Prizes for the Big Money Raffle will be given out Saturday Night, July 21.  Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5.

  • 1st Prize: $7,000
  • 2nd Prize: $2,000
  • 3rd Prize: $1,000

Entertainment starts on the stage at 7:30 p.m. each night. Check out the following bands.

The Reese carnival will run through July 21. Other fire department carnivals planned for this summer include Mount Airy Fire Company carnival (July 23-28) and the Hampstead Fire Company carnival (Aug. 13-18).
