Weekend Weather: Hotter? Yes, Hotter

Actual temperatures will hit triple-digits this weekend in Carroll County.

A heat wave is on the way.

That’s right, on the way. It’s going to get hotter.

According to the National Weather Service, a Midwest weather pattern moving our way will be “Reintroducing record breaking heat to the Mid-Atlantic states … over the next couple of days.”

There is a cold front behind that weather pattern, according to NWS, but, “Much of the Mid-Atlantic will have to wait an additional day before the front can put a significant dent in temperatures across that region.” And, just for good measure, “Scattered storms may accompany the front.”
