Arctic Front Brings Blustery Weather to Carroll County This week

Cold weather arrives in Westminster this week.

"Plummeting temperatures and gusty winds will make for blustery conditions" throughout the nation this week, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

Carroll County could see a wintry mix Monday into Tuesday. After that, expect sunny and cold for the remainder of the week.

There's a 40 percent chance of rain and snow showers after midnight tonight, with no accumulation expected, according to the NWS.

Early Tuesday there is a 30 percent chance of rain and snow showers. Later Tuesday expect sunny skies, with temperatures dropping into the mid-20s Tuesday night. 

Wednesday and Thursday will be sunny with temperatures in the 40s and Friday may see temperatures reach into the 50s.
