Three Days of Halloween Fun in Downtown Westminster

Scarecrows, movies, ghost walks and trick-or-treating -- find it all in downtown Westminster this week.

Halloween week is here and Westminster is ready to have some spooky fun. Here are Halloween events happening in downtown Westminster this week.

Monday, Oct. 28
: Ghost walk in downtown Westminster at 6:30 p.m. at the Westminster Public Library. For ages 10 and above, registration required. As of Monday, this tour is full and there is a waiting list. But don't let that stop you -- download this walking tour guide and take a self-guided tour of Westminster's spookiest spots.

Tuesday, Oct. 29:

  • 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.: Trick or treat downtown - look for businesses displaying the pumpkin in the window.
  • 6:30 p.m. Spooky Sprint fun run on parade route, wear costumes!
  • 7 p.m Halloween Parade on Main Street
  • Scarecrow decorating contest -- vote for your favorite scarecrow 
Wednesday, Oct. 30: Chili Rose's Monster Movie Madness at the Westminster Branch Library at 3 p.m. (remember, Carroll County Public Schools will dismiss early Wednesday).
