17th Annual Eat A Peach Challenge Bike Ride
- Where: 706 Agriculture Center Drive, Westminster
- When: Saturday, Aug. 10, 7 a.m.
- Description: During the annual Peach Festival, the Brain Injury Assoc. of MD will host its 17th Annual Eat A Peach Challenge Bike Ride. Presented by the Brain Injury Association of Maryland (BIAM) with updated and improved 33, 67 and 100 mile routes that start and end at the Peach Festival in Westminster, MD, and wind their way through Carroll and Frederick Counties. This is a fully-supported ride with SAG vehicles on all routes, as well as staffed rest stops along the routes.

- When: Saturday, Aug. 10, 8 a.m.
- Description: Eldersburg Flea Market. Shoppers will find a little bit of everything for sale.
- Cost: $30
All You Can Eat Crab Feast & Bull Roast
- Where: Winfield Fire Dept. Pavilion - 1320 W Old Liberty Rd Sykesville
- When: Saturday, Aug. 10, 3 p.m.
- Description: Citizens for Brian DeLeonardo are invited to join him in his campaign for Carroll County State’s Attorney. Food includes all you can eat crabs, pit beef, pit turkey, potato salad, coleslaw, corn on the cob, crab dip, sodas, lemonade, tea and beer.
- Cost: Tickets are $55 for one ticket, and $100 for two tickets. Register on-line at www.votedeleonardo.com.
- Where: Springfield Presbyterian Church, 7300 Spout Hill Road, Sykesville
- When: Sunday, Aug. 11, 3 p.m.
- Description: Springfield Presbyterian Church is launching a new concert series season this month. Mr. John Kovac, folk harpist is the first guest.
- Cost: Free
17th Annual Carroll County Farmers Market's Peach Festival
- Where: 700 Ag Center Drive, Westminster
- When: Saturday, Aug. 10, 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
- Description: Bike Run. Entertainment. Free peach treats donated by vendors. Peaches, peach pies, cakes, cobblers, ice cream sundaes. Breakfast and lunch served.
- Cost: Free
- Where: New Windsor Presbyterian Church, 200 Church Street (corner of Church and High Sts.) New Windsor
- When: Saturday, Aug. 10, 10 a.m.
- Description: New Windsor Presbyterian Church will host a CHALK ART FESTIVAL called Chalk It Up To Faith for the benefit of The Shepherd's Staff "Back To School Program," which provides free school essentials for the many Carroll County students in need.

The Jacobs Brothers in Concert
- Where: Westminster Baptist Church
- When: Saturday, Aug. 10, 7 p.m.
- Description: This concert is sponsored by the Ladies' Auxiliary of the Westminster Rescue Mission. Proceeds of this event will benefit the programs of the Westminster Rescue Mission. Dessert, coffee and punch will be provided.
- Cost: Proceeds of this event will benefit the programs of the Westminster Rescue Mission.
- Where: 1320 W Old Liberty Rd. Sykesville
- When: Saturday, Aug. 10, 7:30 p.m.
- Description: Locals are invited to dance to the tunes of DJ Ken. BYOB, light snacks provided, soda & water for sale.

- Where: Piney Run Park, 30 Martz Rd., Sykesville
- When: Friday, Aug. 9, 6 – 11 p.m.
- Description: Cash prizes won by 1st, 2nd and 3rd place largest largemouth bass.
- Cost: $20
Tunes Under the Main Street Moon
- Where: Sykesville Main Street, 7547 Main Street, Sykesville
- When: Friday, Aug. 9, 7 – 10 p.m.
- Description: Sykesville retail shops stay open until 10 p.m. offering a variety of drinks and snacks. Live music in the Main Street gazebo.
- Cost: Free
- Where: The Great Frederick Fairgrounds, 797 E Patrick St Frederick
- When: Friday, Aug. 9, 7:30 p.m.
- Description: Cirque Italia is an Italian entertainment company that brings a performance of European style. The stage holds 35,000 gallons of water.
