  • Description:  Fresh local produce in season, baked goods, eggs, honey, gourmet foods, jams and jellies, handmade crafts and more. Breakfast and lunch served.

Pressure/Heat/Time: Paintings by Evan Boggess

  • Where:  Rice Gallery at McDaniel College, 2 College Hill, Westminster
  • When:  Ongoing through September 20
  • Description:  Painter Evan Boggess exhibits mixed media works drawn from his childhood in the West Virginia mountains. 
  • Cost:  Free

  • When:  Every Saturday (9am-12Noon) through Labor Day Weekend

Friday Night Bike Night

  • Where:  Belisimo's Ristorante, 2900 Baltimore Blvd., Finksburg
  • When:  Friday, Aug. 30, 7 – 11 p.m.
  • Description:  Live music w/DJ Vinnie every week Drink specials-contests-models-give-a-ways-Food Specials. Lots of amazing bikes & people.

August 1-31 International Cheese: Pairing of the Month

  • Where:  Linganore Winecellars, 13601 Glissans Mill Road Mt. Airy
  • When:  Daily through Aug. 31
  • Description:  Sample Linganore Wines paired with an array of cheeses from around the world.
  • Cost: $10

Food Truck Saturday

  • Where:  Linganore Winecellars, 13601 Glissans Mill Road Mt. Airy
  • When:  Saturday, Aug. 30
  • Description:  Sample a few sliders from UpslideDown Dave. Enjoy a Cuban, chicken, portabello or even a burger.
  • Cost:  Food for sale, prices vary.

Insects of the Battlefield

  • Where:  Strawberry Hill Nature Preserve, 1537 Mt Hope Rd  Fairfield
  • When:  Friday, Aug. 30, 7 – 8:30 p.m.
  • Description:  Join Strawberry Hill Nature Preserve to learn more about the natural history of the woodlands and pastures of the Gettysburg Battlefield and how the local flora, fauna, and geology helped shape our country’s history. 
  • Cost: $5.00 for members and $8.00 for non-members.

Toast the Weekend

  • Where:  Detour Vineyard And Winery, 7933 Forest and Stream Club Rd Keymar
  • When:  Friday, Aug. 30, 6-8 p.m.
  • Description:  Music lovers are invited to bring dinner, enjoy some wine and live music. Event will be held in tasting pavilion and will take place if it's rain or shine. This pavilion is heated and air conditioned. Tables and chairs are available but is first come, first serve.
  • Cost: Free
