Snow Saturday, Freezing Temperatures to Linger Until Thursday

Midday snow showers are predicted for Saturday while cold temperatures are expected to remain in the area until at least Thursday.

Keep those hats and gloves at the ready, we're not out of the cold yet.

The National Weather Service predicts temperatures will remain below freezing for the next week in Carroll County.

Friday night is expected to drop to a low of 10 degrees with a wind chill value below zero. 

Snow showers are likely between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday, although less than an inch of snow accumulation is expected. Saturday should be the warmest day of the next seven with temperatures rising to 29 degrees. A low of 7, with windchill values as low as -7 are expected Saturday night.

A partly-sunny high of 23 Sunday rounds out the weekend, with a low of 21 at night.

Then the frigid week begins. 

  • Monday - partly sunny, high near 29, low of 3
  • Tuesday - sunny with high near 14 and low of 4
  • Wednesday - clear with a high near 17 low of 8
  • Thursday - sunny with a high near 26
