Happy Mother's Day to all the moms in Carroll County. While you all deserve recognition for your child-raising accomplishments, Patch wanted to honor one special mom with a contest this year. We asked our readers to upload photos of their moms, and after all were collected, Carroll County's Kimberly Patricia Cook of Sykesville was randomly selected as the $50 gift card winner. Her daughter, Megan Richardson, wrote in comments on May 10: "Please, dear God, let my Mom win. She deserves this so much!
