Boys Basketball Prepares for the Holiday, Tournament, That Is

Westminster Boys looking to add some games to the win column, while Winters Mill intends to sweep its own holiday tournament.

Despite early season losses, both Coach Dave Herman of Winters Mill High School and Coach Stephen Byrnes of Westminster High School have high expectations for their teams this season. Due to scheduling issues and inclement weather, the Winters Mill Falcons have only played four of their scheduled five games this so far this season, recording just one loss against Baltimore powerhouse Mt. St. Joes. Coach Dave Herman is confident about his team: "We want to step outside the league and play the best competition to prepare our team," he said. This year Winters Mill returns senior leading scorer Robby Jenkins (15 points per game – ppg) at the shooting guard.
