Weekend Planner: Corbit's Charge a Fun Time for All Ages

Civil War re-enactments, live music and library events will provide education and entertainment all weekend long.

Corbit’s Charge Commemorative Weekend Where: 224 North Center Street, Westminster When: Saturday, June 25 through Sunday, June 26, 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. Scheduled for Saturday: Civil War Encampment opens at 10 a.m.; Parade to and wreath-laying at the Corbit’s Charge Monument and Lt. John William Murray’s graveside at 12:30 p.m.; Old-Time Twi-Night Base Ball Doubleheader at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.; and artillery, cavalry and drilling demonstrations, along with civilian artisans displaying their skills, throughout the day.  Schedule for Sunday:  Encampment opens at 10 am; Tent-style church service at 10 am; Civil War Skirmish at 12 Noon; and artillery, cavalry and drilling demonstrations, along with civilian artisans displaying their skills, …
