Aberdeen Resident Competing On American Idol
American Idol kicked off its latest season Wednesday night on FOX.
Could an Aberdeen singer become the next American Idol? Kriss Mincey hopes so. The local singer is currently competing on Season 12 of American Idol. "I'm originally from Baltimore, MD, by way of Aberdeen, MD," Mincey said in an introductory video. Watch the video, included with this post. "Nothing gives me more joy than being on stage," she said. Kriss is Los Angeles-bound after getting by the judging panel in New York. As of Thursday afternoon, her Facebook page had just under 800 fans. Check out more of her music on YouTube and Tumblr.
