Sheriff's Office, Marine Reserves Kick off Annual 'Toys for Tots' Campaign
Sheriff's deputies will be joined by current and former Marines at Wal-Marts in Eldersburg, Westminster and Hampstead on Nov. 23 to collect new, unwrapped gifts.
The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office has partnered with the United States Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Foundation to collect new, unwrapped toys from now until Christmas for less fortunate children in the community. The United States Marine Corps Reserve has established relationships with local social welfare agencies, churches and other local community agencies which have identified children in the community who would benefit from the program. In Carroll County, residents may drop off any new, packaged, unwrapped toys in collection boxes located inside the entrance at any one of the six public library branches, library headquarters in New Windsor, and the Carroll County Office Building or Sheriff’s Office in Westminster.
