Commissioner Proclamation: Sunday is Baltimore Ravens Day

It's official, Sunday is Baltimore Ravens Day in Carroll County.

The Board of County Commissioners declared Sunday, Jan. 20 as Baltimore Ravens Day and issued the following proclamation: WHEREAS, the Baltimore Ravens became the 2012 AFC North Division Champions, beating the Denver Broncos on 1/12/13 with a score of thirty-eight to thirty-five; and WHEREAS, the Baltimore Ravens won ten regular season games and secured back-to-back division titles for the first time in franchise history; and WHEREAS, the Baltimore Ravens have made the playoffs nine times since 2000; and WHEREAS, the Baltimore Ravens have run, tackled, kicked, passed, blocked and sacked their way into the hearts of Carroll County residents; and WHEREAS, the Baltimore Ravens have shown our community what can result from hard work, …

Jan. 15 is Baltimore Ravens Day in Carroll County

Carroll County has Ravens fever.

Entering the county office building, you will have to walk over a Raven painted on the sidewalk with the word "relentless" written under it. The Ravens are gearing up to face the Houston Texans Sunday and Carroll Countians are gearing up to be the best fans around. The Board of County Commissioners declared Sunday, Jan. 15 Ravens’ Day and issued the following proclamation: WHEREAS, the Baltimore Ravens have won the 2012 AFC North Division Title and the first round playoff bye; and WHEREAS, the Baltimore Ravens won all eight of their home games and four of their away games for a winning season of 12 games; and WHEREAS, the Baltimore Ravens have run, tackled, kicked, passed, blocked and sacked their way into the hearts of Carroll County …
