Police Investigate Double Stabbing (Update)

Three girls were taken to Carroll Hospital Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Update May 19, 6 p.m. Captain Gerry Frischkorn of the Westminster Police Department said that both victims were treated and released from Carroll Hospital Center with non-life threatening stab wounds to the back.  The suspect was charged as a juvenile with two counts of First Degree Assault.  Original story as posted May 18, 10 p.m.  Westminster City Police are investigating a double stabbing that occurred on Pennsylvania Avenue around 7 p.m. Wednesday according to an article in the Carroll County Times. The article reports that a 14-year-old female suspect allegedly stabbed two sisters, aged 15 and 23, in the back, leaving them with non-life threatening injuries, according to Lt.
