The $28 million expansion is scheduled to open in the fall of 2014.
A crowd of an estimated 250 people gathered at Carroll Hospital Center on this week to witness the groundbreaking ceremony that marked the beginning of construction on the William E. Kahlert Regional Cancer Center, a state-of-the-art cancer treatment center, and the Tevis Center for Wellness, an all-new community wellness center. The combined $28 million facilities are the two marquee projects of the “Campaign to Cure and Comfort, Always,” the hospital’s community fundraising initiative.
