Carroll Hospital's New Wellness Center to be Named in Honor of Local Business Owner
Construction on the new community wellness center is scheduled to begin in February 2013 and is expected to open in September 2014.
Carroll Hospital Center will name its new community wellness center the "Tevis Center for Wellness" in honor of local business owner Jack Tevis and his wife Beth. The Tevis' donated $1 million to the "Campaign to Cure & Comfort, Always", the hospital's $22 million community fundraising initiative. Jack Tevis is the president and CEO of S.H. Tevis & Son, Inc. in Westminster. Jack is a third-generation family owner of Tevis Energy, which was founded as Tevis Oil in 1932. “Beth and I are excited to be part of this new health and wellness center which will benefit so many friends, neighbors, customers and children in our community,” Jack Tevis said in a statement .
