UPDATE: Woodbine Woman Dead After Shooting, Boyfriend Charged

A woman was shot Sunday morning on John Pickett Road, Maryland State Police said.

UPDATED 1:25 a.m. 11/19 The Woodbine woman critically injured in a Sunday shooting died shortly after 9 a.m. Monday morning, according to Maryland State Police spokesman Greg Shipley. Brittany A. Warfield, 21, was pronounced dead Monday morning at Maryland Shock Trauma, Shipley said. Warfield's boyfriend, William R. Brueckmann, 26, has been charged in the shooting and more charges in the incident are pending, Shipley said. UPDATED (8:33 p.m.)—Maryland State Police have charged a man in connection with the shooting of his girlfriend Sunday morning in Woodbine.
