With $92.2 million spent by supporters and opponents of Question 7, which would expand casino gambling in Maryland, the issue has dominated the airwaves in the state. Ken Timmerman, a Republican running for the District 8 congressional seat, will spend this afternoon and evening in Westminster.
Ken Timmerman, a nationally-known investigative reporter vying for Congressman Chris Van Hollen's 8th District congressional seat, will spend today, Sept. 27, in Westminster. Timmerman's first stop will be the Lehigh Cement Plant in Union Bridge where he will tour the plant, according to his website. After the Lehigh tour, Timmerman will participate in the Westminster Fallfest activities, which kick off with a parade on Main Street at 7 p.m. Timmerman will also return to Westminster on Saturday to participate in Westminster Fallfest activities.
