(Updated) Flash Flood Warning for Carroll County

The National Weather Service has issued the following alerts.

Updated at 3:53 p.m. A severe thunderstorm warning for the area has been lifted as of 3:52 p.m., according to the National Weather Service website. The area remains under a tornado watch, flash flood warning and hazardous weather outlook. Updated at 3:45 p.m. A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for southeastern Carroll County and other parts of Maryland until 4:30 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. Original story: There is a severe thunderstorm warning in effect for Carroll County and parts of Baltimore County until 3:30 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. NWS also posted a flash flood watch through 8 p.m. Locations impacted by severe weather include Westminster, Sykesville and Eldersburg.
