Police: Union Bridge Teen Found Unharmed

The Carroll County Sheriff's Office reports that a 15-year-old Union Bridge teen missing since Wednesday evening was found unharmed Friday evening.

Fifteen-year-old Mackenzie Lea Digiacomantonio of South Benedum Street in Union Bridge has been located unharmed in Baltimore County according to police.  Digiacomantonio, who police said went missing Wednesday evening, was in the custody of investigators from the Carroll County Sheriff's Office and Maryalnd State Police Computer Crimes Unit Friday evening. The investigation is continuing, anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office at 410-386-2900, the toll free anonymous TIPS Hotline at 1-888-399-TIPP (8477), or email at tipshotline@ccg.carr.org.

Police Seek Man in Missing Union Bridge Teen Case

Police have identified a person of interest in the case of a teenage girl who went missing from Union Bridge Wednesday night.

Law enforcement officials are seeking the public's help in finding a man who they say may be related to the investigation into a missing 15-year-old from Union Bridge. Police have been looking for Mackenzie Lea Digiacomantonio of South Benedum Street in Union Bridge since she was considered missing Wednesday evening.  Digiacomantonio left her home between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. Wednesday night, Dec. 19 and is believed to be in the company of an acquaintance she recently met through the Internet, according to a police report.  The Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the male and green pickup truck, possibly a Toyota, pictured in the attached photographs which they say may be related to the investigation. Police Looking for Missing Union Bridge Teenager

Mackenzie Lea Digiacomantonio went missing Wednesday night, according to police.

The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office is searching for 15-year-old Mackenzie Lea Digiacomantonio of South Benedum Street in Union Bridge, who they say went missing Wednesday night. Digiacomantonio is five feet, six inches tall, weighing approximately 120 pounds, with brown eyes and medium length brown hair, according to police.  Police report that she left her home between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. Wednesday night, Dec. 19 and is believed to be in the company of an acquaintance she recently met through the Internet.  Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Mackenzie Lea Digiacomantonio is asked to contact the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office at 410-386-5900.

(Correction) Two Injured in Union Bridge ATV Accident

A man and woman were found unresponsive after the accident. Police said alcohol may have been a factor.

The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office said late Monday it was incorrect in reporting that 19-year-old Debranne Linda Martin died as a result of injuries sustained from an ATV accident. The young woman remained on life support at the University of Maryland Adams Crowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, according to the sheriff's department. ---- Story as originally reported: Police believe alcohol was a factor in an All Terrain Vehicle accident that occurred in Union Bridge just after midnight on March 18, they said. Robert Mellema, 31, accused of stabbing a Hanover man, was arrested after a standoff at the suspect's Union Bridge, Md. home.
