Video: HSP Gets Cookin' at Bud's of Silver Run
There was lots of food, fellowship and fundraising at Bud's at Silver Run Monday.
More than 30 people took advantage of the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday to attend a cooking class at Bud's at Silver Run. They came with a goal of learning how to make yummy food, and in the process they got to eat yummy food, and support a local cause. Proceeds from the event, sponsored by Bud's at Silver Run, Gunner's Grill in Taneytown and Brewer's Market in Silver Run, will support the women and children's shelter run by Human Service Programs of Carroll County (HSP). HSP operates six shelters in the Westminster area, in addition to offering a comprehensive list of other services to help people become self-sufficient.
