Erin Sullivan, Neighbor

Erin grew up primarily in Dallas, TX and now resides in Mount Airy with her husband, little girl and two dogs.  As the daughter of a Naval Captain, she moved frequently and has seen the East Coast, West Coast and regions in between but finds the tri-state area an ideal place to raise a family.  While attending Roanoke College Erin spent a semester in Florence, Italy studying Art and traveling throughout Europe.  In the 10 years since receiving her undergraduate degree in Fine Art she has owned her own business in downtown Frederick, MD selling her paintings and has also been involved in marketing and model home staging in the Property Management industry in the DC region.  After the birth of her daughter in October 2010 Erin chose to leave the corporate world and pour her energy into raising her daughter, family and her love of painting.  Erin blogs about the adventures of life as a new mother and artist at: anaproposbeginning.blogspot.com and has created her own business, Erin Sullivan Art & Design, which focuses on commissioned painting and custom art.

When she is not blogging or painting Erin loves to search for great vintage finds, spend time with her family, visit galleries, cook, listen to music, take long walks...especially through the historic neighborhoods and town of Mount Airy!
