That line is sad for a whole host of reasons.

ReplyI received the six year budget plan/tables that I requested. It should help form some questions if I can make the Taneytown meeting.

Thank you for checking, Kym. That seem to be the case. I was told through email that I could have summaries or certain sections emailed to me before the general release. However, I didn't hear back from the office after making my request.

ReplyThe previous administration's reductions in funding for AC (http://ccgovernment.carr.org/ccg/budget/12-rbudget/cssum.pdf) foretasted this move. Odd considering they created the deal (I'm assuming). Is there any way to see the now defunct lease?
...
There must be a buyer already lined up because I couldn't find an attempt to just restructure the existing lease to be more fiscally advantageous. Why else would you throw away a signed lease on a building that's already cost over $2 million dollars (http://www.fop20.com/final-rec.pdf) so that you might find a better deal? Perhaps I'm missing something, but that seems like a big gamble. -

I'm sorry if I didn't make it clear, but that quote was from Doug Howard. I agree that the government should always seek the voice of the people on matters like this.
