Northern Landfill to get Scale Upgrades this Week

Scheduled repairs and upgrades may cause some delays at the Northern Landfill this week. 

The Northern Landfill, 1400 Baltimore Blvd, will have traffic and scale limitations during July 8 through July 20 to accommodate Mettler-Toledo in the repairs and upgrades of the landfill scales. Each scale will be down for one week and the landfill will be operating with one functioning scale for a two-week period.

All inbound and outbound customers will be using the same scale, according to a news release. Customers are encouraged to use the landfill on a weekday, which tends to be less busy than a Saturday. Expect delays, possibly long delays.

Staff will do their best to get everyone through in a reasonable amount of time, according to a news release. Operating hours are Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 4:30p.m., and Saturdays, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
